      Negotiation Update

      Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Local 40 and McLaren Macomb have been in contract negotiations since May 2017.  This is a tedious and slow process.  As of today the Bargaining Committee has presented an entire proposal to McLaren Macomb.  This includes all proposals for the entire Collective Bargaining Agreement and we are awaiting a response from their bargaining team.  The current Contract remains in effect and has been extended until October 26, 2017.  There are future dates already scheduled to meet with McLaren Macomb, so we hope to receive a response soon to the proposals which were submitted.

More information will be given at the GMM on October 18th, 2017 at the Local 40 office, please make every attempt to attend.

I would personally like to thank the Bargaining Committee for all the work that they have done and will continue to do!!
